Project Overview
Evers & Sons was contracted to install twin greenfield water transfer pump stations simultaneously. Each site consisted of (5) 500HP Cornell pumps capable of moving up to 125,000bpd each on a common 30” header. Each MLP site also required large bore carbon, stainless and poly work to complete tie-ins to existing mainlines and pond fill lines up to 18’ below grade.
Station Key Equipment Per Site:
- (5) 500HP Cornell Pumps
- Sump Pump
- Ultrasonic Meter
- Vacuum Pump Package
- MCC/SWGR Building with (2) 4 Ton HVAC Units
- Air Compressors
Scope of Work:
- Concrete & Structural Installation for both mechanical and electrical foundations
- Pre-fabrication and internal coating of all interconnect piping
- Pre-fabrication and installation of all structural packages
- Field installation of all interconnect piping and pressure testing
- Equipment installation inclusive of grouting all rotating equipment
- Coating, insulation/jacketing
The mainline pump station projects were designed to support the significant ramp up of drilling and completions requirements, while reducing the reliance on outside fresh water sources and allowing for “recycling” to mitigate the need for disposal of produced water from these operations.
