As proud members of the Common Ground Alliance (CGA), we are excited to participate in the 2025 CGA Conference & Expo, taking place this week from April 7-10 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. This event marks the 25th anniversary of CGA, bringing together over 1,500 damage prevention professionals to collaborate on enhancing safety practices within our industry.
Established in 2000, CGA is a member-driven association dedicated to preventing damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensuring the safety of those who work near these vital assets. With nearly 3,800 members representing various sectors—including utilities, construction, and technology—CGA promotes effective damage prevention practices through shared responsibility among all stakeholders.
This year, our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Director, Rudy Garza, along with one of our safety coaches, will attend the conference to represent Evers & Sons. Their participation is part of our ongoing efforts to stay current on industry standards, continue professional development, and build connections within the safety community. The conference agenda includes a variety of educational sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, all aimed at advancing damage prevention efforts. Engaging with CGA enables us to stay informed about the latest industry standards, allowing us to implement effective damage prevention strategies within our operations.
