Project Overview
Evers & Sons Inc. was contracted to install a new greenfield transmission booster compressor station, constructed alongside a new substation as part of a two-phase expansion. This project was designed to increase customer capacity from 1.77 Bcf/D to 1.9 Bcf/D, supporting Gulf Coast LNG infrastructure growth.
Phase One included the construction of the substation, installation of one compressor package, all ancillary station equipment, and 36” hot tap work for inlet and outlet piping. Phase Two involved the installation of additional inlet filters and the second compressor package.

Scope of Work:
- Concrete and structural installation for mechanical and electrical foundations
- Pre-fabrication and installation of all structural steel packages
- Field installation and pressure testing of all process piping
- Equipment setting, including grouting of all rotating equipment
- Scaffolding, coating, and insulation/jacketing
This transmission booster station project was executed in coordination with incremental looping, compression, and process expansions—enabling the system to increase throughput from 1.77 Bcf/D to 1.9 Bcf/D, supporting growing Gulf Coast LNG capacity demands.
