Project Overview

After successfully completing the original greenfield treating facility, Evers & Sons Inc. partnered again with the client to execute an expansion project supporting the operation of two (2) sulfur recovery units (LO-CAT trains) and a common chemical storage area. In addition to the LO-CAT system installation, Evers & Sons was responsible for all associated gas treating and ancillary equipment required for the facility’s continued growth and performance.

Scope of Work:

Concrete and structural installation for mechanical and electrical foundations
Pre-fabrication of pipe spools and structural steel packages
Field installation and pressure testing of all process piping
Equipment setting, including grouting of all rotating equipment
Scaffolding, coating, insulation, and jacketing

This project is designed to remove H₂S from acid gas produced in the amine regeneration still before venting to atmosphere. It also includes full gas treating and compression system installation as part of the overall balance-of-plant enhancements.
