We are pleased to share that our team has recently been awarded new pipeline work in Texas, further strengthening our contribution to the state’s natural gas network. The projects involve installing 12”, 8’’, and 6’’ gathering lines and associated metering fabrication, each serving as vital connections from the wellhead to the processing plant.
Texas currently operates the most extensive pipeline system in the nation, with more than 465,000 miles of pipelines representing roughly 1/6 of all U.S. mileage. According to the Railroad Commission of Texas, these lines form the backbone of a network that transports nearly all of America’s natural gas and a significant share of liquid petroleum products. Adding these new connections enhances this infrastructure by increasing access points, improving reliability, and supporting market growth in one of the country’s most energy-demanding regions.
Industry groups such as the Texas Oil & Gas Association and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America consistently emphasize that pipelines remain the safest and most efficient way to move oil and gas. By building these new gathering lines to exacting standards, we continue to reinforce that safety record while expanding capacity in the Texas market.
