4″ HDPE Relocation

This project included the installation of a new 4” x 1,600 LF HDPE pipeline to replace an existing section in preparation for future infrastructure expansions. Our scope covered the procurement of all materials; hydro-excavation and location of all known foreign utilities; fusing of HDPE pipe and fittings; assistance with the HDD installation; hot tap and bypass support; decommissioning of the retired section; and site cleanup.

Components Installed:

• 1,600 linear feet of 4″ SDR11 HDD
• Double Polystop with permanent bypass
• Decommissioning of retired pipe section

Functionality:

Installed to continue the flow of natural gas from the distribution point to the end users while decommissioning a section of the line that will have future infrastructure installed within the current ROW.
