Evers & Sons completed the Sabine Transmission Booster Station in Louisiana as part of a two-phase greenfield expansion designed to increase system capacity from 1.77 Bcf/d to 1.9 Bcf/d, supporting growing Gulf Coast LNG demand. Supporting this demand strengthens U.S. energy reliability and global competitiveness by expanding the nation’s ability to supply dependable natural gas to domestic and international markets. Increased LNG capacity helps stabilize energy prices, supports American jobs across construction, operations, and manufacturing. Investments in transmission and compression infrastructure play a critical role in keeping U.S. energy secure and export-ready.
The project included installation of a new transmission booster compressor station constructed alongside a dedicated electrical substation. Scope of work included compressor package installations, 36-inch hot tap work for inlet and outlet piping, and coordinated mechanical, electrical, and civil construction executed in alignment with broader system looping and compression expansions
